This is a wonderful and gloriously illustrated picture book featuring a differently-abled girl and the sweet bond she has with her father。 Will she get to dance with him after her efforts of dress buying and practicing with her sisters when a snowstorm is looming？ I bought the Kindle edition and the author’s note is in the front， rather than the back， and it has a thorough and succinct explanation of Elsie’s syndrome。

This is a story with a Daddy-daughter dance with a difference。 The daughter has a disability。 She uses a wheelchair， a language board， and is fed through a tube in her tummy。 While I am happy that there are books available so every child can see their reflection in books， I wish those books were written by experienced children’s books authors。
